Privacy notice

Last updated: October 20, 2026

What happens to your data when you read autobahn.bot. In short: no account, no forms, no advertising, no tracking cookies. Our host Cloudflare sees your IP address to deliver and protect the pages, counts visits without cookies, and sets one security cookie.

Who is responsible

The operator of autobahn.bot is responsible for this website (the "controller" under the EU General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR).

Write to hello@autobahn.bot about anything on this page, including the rights listed below.

What this notice covers

This notice covers the pages at autobahn.bot. The products they link to run at their own addresses (for example brain.autobahn.bot or flood.autobahn.bot), and this notice does not describe them.

This site has no accounts, no forms, no comments, no newsletter and no advertising. It uses no tracking or advertising cookies, makes no automated decisions about you and builds no profiles. Apart from Cloudflare, described below, it loads nothing from other companies: fonts and images come from autobahn.bot itself.

Hosting and delivery (Cloudflare)

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you open a page, your browser sends Cloudflare the usual technical data: your IP address, the page address, the time, your browser and operating system (user agent) and the page you came from (referrer). Cloudflare needs this to deliver the page and to protect the site from attacks and abuse.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a site that loads quickly and stays secure (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Cloudflare processes this data on our behalf under its data processing agreement and keeps its logs for a limited time that Cloudflare sets.

Visit statistics (Cloudflare Web Analytics)

To learn which pages are read and how fast they load, Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views. A small script from static.cloudflareinsights.com sends cloudflareinsights.com the page address, the page you came from (if any), your browser and operating system versions and loading times. It sets no cookie and stores nothing on your device. We see only totals, such as views per page or per country, never individual visitors.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in knowing which pages help readers (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The site works fully if you block this script, which any content blocker does, and you can object at any time (see "Your rights").

Your language choice (stored in your browser)

When you pick a language with the switch at the top of the page, the site remembers it in your browser's local storage, under the name autobahn_language, with the value en, th or de. It is only used to open autobahn.bot in that language next time. Reading pages stores nothing. The value never leaves your device, and deleting the site data in your browser removes it.

It is stored only because you ask for it by using the switch (§ 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG).

When you write to us

Mail to hello@autobahn.bot is forwarded by Cloudflare Email Routing to the operator's mailbox. We use your address and message only to answer you, and delete them once they are no longer needed, unless the law requires us to keep them.

Legal basis: answering your request (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, or (f) for general questions).

Data outside the EU

Cloudflare is a US company and may process data in the USA and other countries. It is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, so the European Commission's adequacy decision of 10 July 2023 covers these transfers; Cloudflare says it falls back on the EU standard contractual clauses should that certification ever lapse.

Your rights

You can ask what data about you we hold (Art. 15 GDPR) and have it corrected (Art. 16), deleted (Art. 17) or restricted (Art. 18), or receive it in a common format (Art. 20). Because most processing here rests on our legitimate interest, you can object to it at any time for reasons arising from your situation (Art. 21). Write to hello@autobahn.bot. Apart from Cloudflare's short-lived security logs, we hold nothing that identifies you unless you have emailed us.

You can also complain to a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU country where you live or work (Art. 77 GDPR).

Visitors in Thailand have similar rights under the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) and can complain to the Office of the Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC).

Changes

We update this notice when the site changes what it stores or sends. The date at the top shows the last change.
